As a passenger on a European flight departure, you are guaranteed basic rights if your departure is delayed or cancelled or if you are denied boarding.

Good advice

European Consumer Centre Denmark has assembled a body of good advice and useful information about the purchase of airline tickets, which we recommend you to follow before you book your flight.

Airlines that go bankrupt

If the airline where you have purchased your ticket goes bankrupt, you are not covered by the Danish Travel Guarantee Fund. This puts you in a bad position and the chances of getting your money back are very slim.
