Five pieces of good advice about counterfeit products which you should keep in mind when buying in Denmark or abroad.

  • If the price is very low you should take care and examine why.
  • Ask whether the product is original if you are in doubt. Demand proof of it.
  • See to it that you always get a receipt and retain it.
  • Be particularly careful and suspicious if you are buying from a street trader.
  • Make sure that you always get documentary evidence of the place to which the goods are to be sent in case you subsequently need to file a complaint about defects and shortcomings.
