How long may a repair take and how many attempts does the seller have?

If the seller offers repair, such repair must be carried out within a reasonable time. There is no fixed time-limit setting out how long a repair may take.

Right of complaint for replaced goods

If, after a purchase in Denmark, you have obtained replacement of goods because of defects, a new two-year time-limit for complaints will run for the replaced goods from the date of replacement.

Complaints about bargain goods

The right of complaint applies to all types of goods. A seller cannot exempt a whole group of goods, for example seconds or bargain merchandise, by making a general reservation.
